About Us
We started Serenity Oaks because we wanted the kind of care we'd want for our own parents — patient, personal, and unhurried.

Our story
Serenity Oaks was founded by Minnesota caregivers, nurses, and family members who saw firsthand how impersonal larger facilities can feel. We set out to build something different: a small Assisted Living home in Minneapolis where every resident is genuinely known.
Today, we serve elders and adults with disabilities through Minnesota's CADI, DD, and Elderly Waiver programs, partnering closely with case managers, families, and healthcare providers across the Twin Cities.
Our values
Every resident is treated as a whole person — with a history, a voice, and choices that matter.
We work alongside families and case managers, communicating openly and often.
Our caregivers are trained, supported, and held to high standards of clinical and emotional care.
We honor the languages, foods, and traditions that make each resident's life uniquely theirs.
Comfortable rooms, home-cooked meals, and quiet corners — never institutional.
Music, gardens, shared meals — small moments that make life feel full.
The best way to know Serenity Oaks is to spend time with us. We'd be honored to give you a tour, answer questions, and meet your family.
